Sharon began sewing at a very young age and learned about quilting from her grandma Hazel. After running a successful couture dress design and manufacturing company for 20 years, she directed her talents and passion into the quilt world. Sharon’s quilts have won major awards including two consecutive best of show awards at the AQS show in Paducah, three best in show awards at Quilt Festival in Houston and she has received the “Master Quilter” honor from NQA. Her exceptional use of color and her talent for unique designs have made her a trail blazer in the quilting industry. Sharon is dedicated to teaching innovative techniques and passing on basic, yet essential skills to quilters of all skill levels.

  • I quilt on a domestic machine. Can I take this course?

    Yes, absolutely! This class focuses on how to create unique feather designs that fill a variety of spaces within a quilt. This process is the same whether you quilt on a domestic or a longarm machine.

  • Is this course for beginners?

    If you've never done any free motion quilting, this course isn't recommended. Quilters with some free motion quilting experience will gain a lot from the content that Sharon shares throughout the course.

  • How long is this course?

    The total instruction time is about 90 minutes.
